MEET LORI
Since moving here in 2016, I’ve been raising my family in Falls Church City, and I’ve served on the Falls Church City School Board since 2021.

I am a homeowner, taxpayer, self-employed consultant, and a mother to a son and daughter - one a fourth grader, and the other a seventh grader.

I’m proud of many of our accomplishments on the School Board. From implementing the results of a compensation study to ensure our staff and teachers are receiving competitive pay, to keeping class sizes small, to voting yes to allowing the first collective bargaining agreement, to hiring an exceptional new superintendent, we’ve done really great things.
I’m looking forward to engaging with the community on important issues such as the appropriate use of technology in schools from preschool through Meridian and working on an AI policy that will best suit our schools. But, I don’t come in with a set agenda. The agenda is really what the community wants us to focus on, and I want to hear from you about any issues where the Board can be of help.
I’ve been an accessible member of the school board, and even when there is disagreement, it’s always with respect and kindness. I’ve participated in countless town halls, responded to countless emails and phone calls, and held office hours both in school buildings and throughout the community. I will continue that practice if elected to another term.
As the population continues to grow, I will continue to advocate for a school budget that supports our students, teachers, and staff. Our budget must reflect the growing population.
Please remember to vote by November 4. I hope I can earn your vote.
